Gordon
Square is another park in Bloomsbury designed by Thomas
Cubitt at the beginning of 19th century. Most of the buildings
around the square belong to the University of London. LSBM
students have access to the lecturing facilities of Birkbeck
College located on the east side of the Square. The west
side is dominated by Christ the King church and Dr. William’s
library. Similarly to Tavistock Square, Gordon Square is
a popular place for a mid-day break. |
