printed prospectus.
"Students on both pathways take modules that deliver
the important skill areas that you would experience in industry,
covering the subjects of motion graphics and design. Shared
module titles include Print and Web Design, Video and
Image, Typography and Motion, Professional Studies Critical
and Historical Studies.
The Photography and Motion Graphics pathway
in photography and related disciplines for the digital age
includes established photographic principles and methods.
You will already have a photographic qualification or experience
and this course will allow you to develop those skills and
complement them with other areas such as video, image manipulation,
typography and web design. The pathway develops from the
basics to cover many areas of photographic practice alongside
digital skills.
There are specialist modules in Photography Principles,
Photo Editing and Manipulation, Photography locations, Applications
of Photography. The Interactive Design pathway
introduces the multimedia skills needed to become a new
media designer/producer. A strong design awareness underpins
successful interactive design together with competency in
many skill areas, including web design, image generation
and sequencing, and also programming."
