University's printed prospectus.
"You
can choose to follow one of these options:
• Education Studies (Single Hons)
• International Education (Single Hons)
• Early Years Education (Single Hons)
• Education as part of a Combined Award
(With a second Subject)
There's a wide range of modules for you to choose from
depending on the route you choose, along with some compulsory
modules.
In Year 1, Two core modules introduce key concepts and
skills that underpin the subject. In addition there are
optional modules in, for example: learning though life,
early years education, adolescence, primary schools and
education in Europe.
In Years 2 and 3 you will consider more deeply the current
issues in education. You will think critically about teaching,
diversity, inclusion and educational policy and explore
global and international perspectives in education. There
are opportunities to carry out original research and pursue
your own interests in these areas."
