“Globalisation,
and the question of its ”governance”, constitutes
a major area of contemporary public discourse. Central
to this topic is the nature and character of the relationships
between three key sectors of the global polity: the state
and other public authorities, business and the institutions
of global capital, and civil society and international
non-governmental organisations.
