The following information was taken directly from the University of Glamorgan's printed postgraduate prospectus.

"If you want to develop a specialist career in multinational enterprises in the UK or abroad, these programmes offer high-level strategic learning in the areas of logistics and transport systems, strategic supply chain management, international and global supply network management, distribution and warehousing, economic policy and markets, complexity thinking, strategic operations management and project management. By the time you graduate, you will have the specialist knowledge to manage and adapt supply chains, and will be able to pioneer logistics in this growing field.

We are in the top six UK universities in the field of purchasing and supply chain mangement. The Division of Supply Network Management at Glamorgan is a CIPS Center of Excellence, a CIPS Level Professional and Masters programmes for the Chartered Institute of Logistics (CILT). Both courses are accredited CIPS and CILT and all full time students will gain student membership of these bodies. Upon successful completion of your course, you will gain MCIPS (in addition to to three years' work experience) and MCILT (with an average of 50% mark across the course). This course includes field trips to enable students to understand the practical implications of logistics and supply chain management in a variety of industrial settings.

These are two separate awards, but they share seven core modules. Depending on which award you want to achieve, you will take three modules to specialise in either international Logistics and Supply Chain Management or International Transport and Logistics."
