"Safety, health and environmental issues are becoming
increasingly important and have significant implications
for organisations. The MSc teaches safety professionals
how to plan, organise, implement and monitor safety, health
and environmental management in the workplace.
We have specifically designed this award so you can progress
from National Examinations Board in Occupational Safety
and Health (NEBOSH Diploma), or equivalent, to a professionally
recognised postgraduate qualification. The University
also benefits from a strategic partnership with Corporate
Health and Safety Solutions (CHSS), who are internationally
recognised providers of NEBOSH certificate and diploma
courses.
You will also develop managerial skills in resources,
people, information and finance. Graduate career prospects
are excellent because employers value the skills and experience
you will gain through this course. Opportunities exist
in environmental protection and occupational safety and
health in private and public sector organisations.
